Integrative & Transpersonal Psychotherapy: Healing Mind and Body in Greenwich and Online
Feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or struggling with life's challenges? Looking to understand yourself better or heal from past experiences? I'm ready to support you on your journey towards personal growth and emotional well-being.
Initial Consultation
Taking the first step towards therapy can feel daunting, which is why I offer a free 20-minute initial consultation. This gives us a chance to connect, discuss your needs, and see if we're a good fit. During this call, we'll explore your current situation and what you hope to achieve through therapy. It's an opportunity for you to ask any questions and get a sense of how I work.
An Integrative Approach
As an integrative and transpersonal psychotherapist, I draw upon a wide range of therapeutic modalities, tailoring our sessions to your unique experiences and goals. This approach ensures we address your specific needs effectively and holistically.
My practice is grounded in several key therapeutic frameworks:
The advantage of this integrative method is its flexibility. No matter what you bring to our sessions, we can draw upon the most appropriate approach to facilitate deeper exploration.
In addition to these psychotherapy approaches, I can also incorporate techniques such as NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), and neuroscience into our sessions. These modalities allow us to address what is becoming conscious from multiple angles, engaging both mind and body in the healing process. Depending on your individual needs and preferences, we may also explore creative methods, somatic (body-based) practices, or dream work. This holistic approach enables us to tap into different aspects of your experience, often leading to profound insights and lasting change.
Short-term and long-term work is available. For long-work, I recommend an initial review after six sessions, followed by regular check-ins throughout the therapeutic journey. This ensures that our work remains aligned with your evolving needs and goals.
I believe in the importance of providing psychoeducation at appropriate times throughout our sessions, so you can gain an understanding of your journey as it unfolds.
In our sessions, I create a warm, non-judgmental space where you can safely explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. My approach is tailored to support individuals facing a range of challenges, including healing from abuse or childhood neglect, overcoming addictions, building self-esteem and confidence, addressing self-harm behaviours, recovering from narcissistic abuse and wounding, strengthening a weakened sense of self, managing anxiety and depression, and working through trauma-related issues.
Together, we'll work to uncover and understand patterns that may be holding you back, enhance your relationships and communication skills, and connect with your inner wisdom and potential. By integrating mind-body techniques, we can tap into your body's innate wisdom, leading to profound insights and lasting change. My goal is to empower you to become the best version of yourself, helping you live a more fulfilling and authentic life.
I’m excited to introduce The Journey, a powerful transformative method I incorporate into my therapy practice when appropriate. Developed by Brandon Bays, this approach offers a unique set of tools for awakening and liberating our infinite human potential.
In our sessions, we create a safe space for deep exploration, gently guiding you towards the root causes of your current challenges. By accessing your creative imagination - a bridge between the conscious and unconscious mind - we work together to identify and resolve inner conflicts and blockages that may have been hidden from view.
This method can be particularly effective for issues such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, chronic anger, addictions, and relationship problems. It allows us to let go of past emotional blocks, promoting healing and transformation at a cellular level.
Each Journey session is unique and tailored to your needs. Whilst I often integrate this method into ongoing therapy, stand-alone Journey sessions are also available. You may feel called to book a stand-alone session and that’s perfectly okay. For those focusing on specific specific conditions or symptoms, a series of three sessions is often recommended. Sessions typically last about 75 minutes, including time for reflection and integration.
